Will there be more wholesome cuteness focused scenes with him instead? Will the player character get to boop the snoot as well as the cuteness enhancing paw beans?

I'm not good with words, but don't let them discourage you and bring you down just because of 1 volume release. It doesn't matter whether or not they like the visual novel, but they're just people trying make others as miserable as they are for the sake of being miserable. As sad as this announcement is, I'll keep supporting you. Take a break when you need it.

I say still do it. The people complaining were never going to read this visual novel in the first place. As long as it's not too stressful for you all of course. You need to do what you need to do.

Honestly if you want it to have the scene I say go with it. To those who don't want to see it can just skip it or move on. I personally look forward to it if you still decide to use it.
